ABOUT THE PROJECT
Aware that the original library was a project of SC’s Robert Mills, designer of the Washington Monument and other national landmarks, the University approached this renovation carefully. The award-winning result grew out of an imaginary trip into Mills’ mind to determine what his initial design intentions were.
